Message-ID: <20110605023207.56600@gmx.com> Hi guys, We have been invited to have our June match on the 18th at Walt's place in Bremen. Lunch will be provided as part of the deal with burgers on the grill and other yummy stuff. We need to get there early so we can get started before it gets too hot. Walt has been doing more extensive land preparation and the course looks really nice so don't miss this one folks. See everyone in two weeks! We will be hosting our June club match at our A.A. West facility (aka Walt's place). This facility has perfectly manicured FT grounds that are expertly maintained by master grounds keeper Walt Roller. Our course layout has been meticulously designed and executed by master course builder Walt Roller. The grounds various amenities include a spacious club house with ice cold air conditioning, clean restrooms, a well stocked kitchen, a complete workshop for all airgun repairs, and compressed air tank filling facility (for a small fee). We are planning a post match luncheon of burgers from the grill and other tasty treats with cold drinks to enjoy while you cool off and enjoy a little fellowship with friends. Now that I have your attention, we do need to get down to business. The match needs to start before it gets too hot so 9:30 will be the start time. Lunch will be shortly after the match ends. The match fee is $10 to cover the food and supplies. Parking is limited so ride sharing would be appreciated. Please let us know if you are planning on attending by sending me an email at mbmedic at techie.com so we can get the correct amount of food and drinks. Hope to enjoy the day shooting with everyone on Saturday. Thanks, Ken Hughes -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Walt always hosts a good match and well worth the drive. The weather cooperated and the rain held off until we were done with the match, nice planing Walt. Walt's course turned out to be a bear with a TDF in the 38 range then add in some wind and it was kinda humbling to say the least. Tommy was a shooting machine and gave us a clinic on how to get it done with an amazing 56/60!! Way to shoot Tommy. David Slade and Doug Vinson did some dam good shooting in the WFTF division, both shooting 49/60. David Kirby was showing us how to get it done in the HFT division with a 40/60. Walt fed us well with burgers from the grill including all the fixins, salads, chips, and good ol' sweet tea. After lunch we did a little airgun repairing on a Ripley David Slade owns, and tuned it for WFTF class power levels. Thanks again Walt!
